Dermaroller Instructions

STEP 1. Cleansing

Cleanse your skin well with a cleanser that’s suitable for your skin type. To maximize skin needling effect, use a scaling drug or ultrasonic (scrubber) first to remove any dead skin and wastes before the derma roller treatment. When using a derma roller to treat hair loss, wash your head with a shampoo before skin needling.

STEP 2. Numbing

If you are using dermaroller that has longer needles than 0.5 mm, then you probably would like to use a numbing solution to make the needling experience more ejoyable. We recommend using our numbing solution before any skin needling session when longer needles are used.

STEP 3. Skin needling Treatment

Choose a roller that fits the purpose of the treatment. Pull the skin and scalp a little with the hand not holding the roller. With the other hand, start rolling the roller in one direction from right to left, bottom to top, and diagonally distributing even pressure as seen in the pictures below (the directions and in what order roll the dermaroller is not important, find the most suitable way for you).

Dermaroller Instructions

Be careful not to impose too much needle pressure in the direction. Especially, you must avoid imposing excessive stimulations on the eye area and cheekbones.

STEP 4. Skin Solution Application

Apply appropriate skin solution that suits your skin needling session goals evenly on the desired area. The multiple holes created by needling will deliver the ingredients deep into the skin. Wait for about 15-20 minutes, before applying other skin care products.

STEP 5. Moisturizing & Soothing

Apply a soothing and moisturizing mask (we recommend sheet masks for facial care, powder masks for body areas) on to the stimulated, red area. Apply masks that will relax and moisturize your skin.

STEP 6. After Care

It is important to keep treated area out of the sun in the first week after treatment. A SPF30+ sunscreen is recommended, along with daily moisturizing, regenerating, and nutritious skin care products (specially recommended solutions with vitamins A, C and E).
